Handicapped. Specific needs routes - Any time a handicapped or other student with a specific need cannot be accommodated on regular established bus routes; the district will evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of establishing and posting a new route or adding additional transportation duties to a current driver. If the decision is made to use a current driver the following factors will be considered when selecting that driver: Geographical Proximity Time Available Most Economical Driver's Seniority
Handicapped. ALL OFFERS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THE REQUEST FOR “BEST AND FINAL” OFFERS WILL BE INITIALLY EVALUATED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE OFFERS MEET THE UNIFORM FEDERAL ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS AS A REQUIREMENT OF THIS SOLICITATION. IF OFFERS ARE RECEIVED WHICH FULLY MEET HANDICAPPED REQUIREMENTS, OTHER OFFERS WHICH DO NOT FULLY MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THE CONTRACTING OFFICER REQUESTS A WAIVER OF HANDICAPPED REQUIREMENTS AND THE ADMINISTRATOR OF GSA GRANTS THE WAIVER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS ACT OF 1968, AS AMENDED. IF NO OFFERS ARE RECEIVED WHICH FULLY MEET HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BUT OFFERS ARE RECEIVED WHICH SUBSTANTIALLY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS, OTHER OFFERS WHICH DO NOT SUBSTANTIALLY MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. “SUBSTANTIALLY MEETS” AS USED HEREIN WITH RESPECT TO THE HANDICAPPED REQUIREMENTS MEANS THE OFFER COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS STATED IN THE UNIFORM FEDERAL ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS AS NOTED IN THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS:
Handicapped. Parking LESSOR shall provide parking stalls for persons with disabilities per application code.
Handicapped. No otherwise qualified handicapped individual in the United States, as defined in Section 706(7) of Title 29 USC, and subchapter II of Chapter 111, Wis. Stats., shall solely by reason of the individual’s handicap, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving benefits under this Agreement.
Handicapped. The Contractor will not discriminate in employment on the basis of handicap against any qualified handicapped person and agrees to take positive steps to employ and advance in employment qualified handicapped persons and to comply with Department of Human Services Regulations (45 CFR Part 84), as from time to time amended.
