Common use of Funeral/Bereavement Leave Clause in Contracts

Funeral/Bereavement Leave. An employee may use up to twenty-four (24) hours of Funeral /Bereavement leave in case of a death in an employee's immediate family, as defined in Section 14.3.

Funeral/Bereavement Leave. An employee may use up to forty (40) hours, with twenty-four (24) hours paid by the District of Funeral /Bereavement /Xxxxxxxxxxx leave in the case of a death in an employee's immediate family, family or the death of the individual who is currently predesignated as defined in Section 14.3the employee’s “designated person”.
