External Grants. Faculty awarded grants that are funded outside the institution, which grants having been previously approved by the President and containing grant monies for such purpose, shall be compensated by the provisions of the award. Such compensation is independent of any compensation earned for student credit hour producing courses, must have the specific and prior approval of the President.
External Grants. 1 Funds provided as external grants must be expended in accordance with any conditions of that grant. Funds granted by external organisations can only be used for what they have been granted for.
External Grants. For positions funded by external grants or contracts where terms of this Agreement are in conflict with terms of the relevant grant or contract, the terms of the grant or contract will prevail.
External Grants. The Midwest PBIS program has been discontinued as of June 30, 2020, while the Early Choices grant remains ongoing for FY2021-22. Out of District Fees – Non-DWC districts can place students in the Visually Impaired or Deaf /Hard of Hearing programs that SASED operates. We are currently charging a $5,000 tuition surcharge to non-member districts for students who attend these programs. These fees work toward reducing tuition costs. Assumptions/Expenditures – Budgeted Wages & Benefit Increases – Salaries & Wages are pending the outcomes of collective bargaining with both union groups. As budget development efforts continue, at least two scenarios will be developed, varying the levels of services that are anticipated to be required by member districts. The COVID-19 impacts will be incorporated into these projections. When considering wage increases for the Occupational & Physical Therapists, we again must acknowledge that this group has contemplated forming a collective bargaining unit in the past. Whenever possible it has been desirable for their wage increase to be comparable to that of the bargaining unit groups consequently, we are proposing limiting their salary increase to be proportionate to the Education Association. For all remaining employee groups, we are anticipating increases that follow the Tax Cap CPI-U and take into consideration the settlements for employees represented through collective bargaining.
External Grants. Faculty Member shall be permitted to apply for and receive funding from external grants to defray travel and other coincidental expenses during his/her participation in the Program, or to fund approved study or research activities. All such financial arrangements must be approved in advance by the Xxxxxxx.
