Employer sponsorship. The Employer shall cover the Tuition and Registration cost of any courses or training programs mandated by the Employer. Subject to the Employer having approved the Employee’s participation in the training program, time spent in such training shall be considered to be time worked and travel compensation as per the rate set out in Article 12 shall be provided to attend such courses or programs. The Employer shall cover the cost of meals and lodging if required for such courses or training programs. Employees will receive training based on need. Where the need for training is relatively equal, preference in providing training shall be given to the Employee(s) with the most seniority.

  • Beneficiary Rollovers from Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans If you are a spouse Beneficiary, nonspouse Beneficiary, or the trustee of an eligible type of trust named as Beneficiary of a deceased employer plan participant, you may directly roll over inherited assets from a qualified retirement plan, 403(a) annuity, 403(b) tax-sheltered annuity, or 457(b) governmental deferred compensation plan to an inherited IRA. The IRA must be maintained as an inherited IRA, subject to the beneficiary distribution requirements.

  • Employer Rules The Employer may establish reasonable work rules necessary to regulate employees’ conduct at work. Work rules shall be reviewed with new employees, conspicuously posted and made available to all employees. The Employer may require new employees to sign a form provided by that Employer to confirm their understanding of the work rules. The Employer will advise the Union of any proposed changes to the work rules thirty (30) days in advance. If the rule is a mandatory subject of bargaining, the Union reserves the right to demand to bargain.
