Student Supervision 2. Central Issues as they affect Occasional Teacher Workload
Director An Approved User who is generally a senior IT official of the Requester with the necessary expertise and authority to affirm the IT capacities at the Requester. The IT Director is expected to have the authority and capacity to ensure that the NIH Security Best Practices for Controlled-Access Data Subject to the NIH GDS Policy and the Requester’s IT security requirements and policies are followed by all of the Requester’s Approved Users.
Supervision of Student Teachers Paragraph 1: Supervision of a student teacher shall be voluntary. Teachers shall normally be notified of a student teacher assigned at least two (2) weeks prior to the student teacher’s introduction to the classroom. The school system shall provide the cooperating teacher with whatever materials it deems appropriate. The cooperating teacher shall be responsible for being knowledgeable of the contents of any such materials provided.
NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION(S) A university or other institution of higher education or an organization of the type described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. 501(c)) and exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. 501(a)) or any nonprofit scientific or educational organization qualified under a state nonprofit organization statute. As used herein, the term also includes government agencies.
Deputy Minister The Deputy Minister is responsible for:
*Experienced Educator An educator with Professional Teacher Status (PTS).
Associated Enterprises (a) an enterprise of a Contracting State participates directly or indirectly in the management, control or capital of an enterprise of the other Contracting State, or
Answer Supervision An off-hook supervisory signal.
Student Teachers 8.05.01.A No teacher will be required to accept the responsibility of supervising student teachers; it is believed that professionally interested teachers will volunteer to do so from time to time.
