Deputy Minister definition

Deputy Minister. - means the Deputy of a Minister or the Head of a ministry as defined in this agreement;
Deputy Minister means the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance;
Deputy Minister means the lawful deputy of the Minister or any person acting on behalf of the lawful deputy;

  • Subject to subsection (4), a Minister or Deputy Minister who was not a Member of Parliament on appointment as Minister or Deputy Minister vacates his or her office as such if circumstances arise that would result in his or her seat becoming vacant were he or she a Member of Parliament.
