Contract Protection. If any other State bargaining unit(s) enter(s) into an agreement with the State that does not have Pension Reform or provides a greater value/total compensation package than this agreement does, taking into account all “takeaways” or enhancement/”sweeteners”, Unit 2 members shall receive the difference between the packages/agreements, not including bona fide litigation matters (such as future court decisions or settlements), arbitration decisions or settlements, a bargaining unit (i.e., its members) being brought up to the same level of health care benefits as this unit, and legislative changes. Upon occurrence of such an event, the parties shall meet and discuss the differences and an implementation plan. Only after such discussions and without mutual agreement may the Union file a grievance. The term of this article/section shall not apply to successor agreements reached or to agreements that are part of the “group of four”, (i.e., Xxxxx, 0, 8,18, 19).
Contract Protection. For the term of this Contract, the State shall not implement a furlough program or mandate a Personal Leave Program.
Contract Protection. A. If any other state bargaining units enter into an agreement that does not have Pension Reform and provides a greater value than that provided to Bargaining Unit 13 then this benefit will be extended to IUOE BU 13.
Contract Protection. The State shall not implement a furlough program or mandated Personal Leave program during the first two (2) years of this agreement, July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2021. The State and Bargaining Unit 5 agree that if projected state revenues are insufficient to fully fund existing statutory and constitutional obligations, existing fiscal policy, and the costs of providing compensation pursuant to section 19827, effective on July 1, 2021, and July 1, 2022, in the sole discretion of the Director of the Department of Finance, this provision shall be reopened and the parties will meet.

Upon occurrence of such an event, the parties shall meet and discuss the differences and an implementation plan. Contract Protection a. If any other State bargaining units enter into an agreement that does not have Pension Reform and provides a greater value than that provided to Bargaining Xxxx 0, then CAHP, as the exclusive representative, may reopen related economic provisions of its MOU and meet and confer in good faith and discuss the similar or equivalent increases to be provided to CAHP members and the implementation plan.
