Conditions of Full-Time to Casual. A full-time Employee moving to a permanent casual position, and who successfully completes the trial period, shall have the number of years of seniority x 988 hours plus the nearest complete month prorated to hours to determine the total number of hours of seniority. The full-time Employee shall be placed on trial for a period of 304 hours worked in their new casual position. Conditional on satisfactory service, such trial shall be confirmed permanent after the period of 304 hours worked. In the event the Employee proves unsatisfactory in the casual position during the aforementioned trial period, they shall be returned to their former position without loss of seniority and at their former salary rate. Any other Employee promoted or transferred because of the rearrangement of positions shall also be returned to their former position without loss of seniority and at their former salary rate. Accumulated vacation credits to date of reclassification will be retained and carried forward, however the Employee shall not be allowed to take vacation during the trial period of said casual employment. Thereafter, their casual vacation entitlement shall be in accordance with their casual seniority date.

Ensure that the Fire Brigade is called to any outbreak of fire, however slight, and details given to the management. Prior to the start of an event indicate the fire exits and Evacuation Meeting Place to the persons attending the event. The Evacuation Meeting Place is outside the rear gates for the back of the building and on the pavement to the front of the building No person may re-enter the building without the permission of the Fire Brigade.
