BOARD RIGHTS CLAUSE. 2.1 The Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the District, hereby retains and reserves onto itself, with limitation, all powers, rights, authority, duties and responsibilities conferred upon and vested in it by county, district, or local laws or regulations or by the laws of the Constitution of the State of Michigan and of the United States, including but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the right:

BOARD RIGHTS CLAUSE. SECTION A: It is understood and agreed that the Board retains those powers expressly granted to it by law. It is agreed that these provisions do not supersede the provisions of the agreement and are specifically limited by such agreement. Any right reserved herein shall not be exercised without regard to the rights of employees as outlined in this agreement. It shall not be for the purpose of discriminating against any employee and shall not invalidate any provision included within this agreement.

BOARD RIGHTS CLAUSE. The Principals recognize that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the District, hereby retains and reserves unto itself, without limitation, all powers, rights, authority, duties and responsibilities conferred upon and vested on it be the laws and the Constitution of the State of Michigan, and of the United States, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing: The right to the executive management and administrative control of the school system, its personnel, its properties and facilities.
