Appointment of Mentors. C.3.2.1. On receipt of a formal request from an organisation for mentoring, the Committee will allocate two or three signatories that will each be expected to identify an appropriate person to represent them on the mentoring team. Each representative must be knowledgeable of the accreditation / recognition systems and engineering education standards within their own jurisdiction.
Appointment of Mentors. (1) By May 15 of each year, the Director of Human Resources will post a notice to all certified staff that the district is seeking year 1 Resident Educator qualified mentor candidates for the following school year. The posting will include: candidate requirements, expected hours of service and supplemental contract amount. A list of district-wide applicants will be maintained for review by the Resident Educator Planning Committee to match resident educators with mentors prior to the start of the school each year.

Appointment of Mentors. The selection and appointment of all Mentor Teachers will be the responsibility of the District in its sole discretion. When feasible, the Administration may seek input and recommendations from the building school improvement team or other staff advisor(s). In selecting Mentors, the District will make reasonable efforts to match Mentor/Mentee in regard to compatibility, expertise, and common release time. Mentors shall have demonstrated exemplary classroom management skills and shall have kept abreast of the latest methods in professional teaching technique.
