appropriate person means the person required to make the material open to public inspection or, as the case may be, the person maintaining the register;
Expatriate Personnel means such persons who at the time of being so hired had their domicile outside India;
Appropriate Officer means the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, Treasurer or Secretary of the Company, any Assistant Treasurer or any Assistant Secretary of the Company, any Executive or Senior Vice President or any Vice President (whether or not designated by a number or numbers or word or words added before or after the title “Vice President”) of the Company or such other director or officer of the Company as approved by the Board to perform the services of an “Appropriate Officer” hereunder.
Appropriate Commission means as defined in the PPA;
corporate person means a company as defined in clause (20) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), a limited liability partnership, as defined in clause (n) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), or any other person incorporated with limited liability under any law for the time being in force but shall not include any financial service provider;
Free appropriate public education means special education and related services that:
Private Person means any person, firm, entity or individual who or which is other than a "governmental unit" as that term is used in Sections 141 and 148 of the Code.
Whistle Officer or “Committee” means an officer or Committee of persons who is nominated/appointed to conduct detailed investigation.
Responsible Person means any person other than the registered owner of an immovable property who is legally responsible for the payment of municipal service charges.
Review Officer means the officer of the Adviser designated from time to time by the Adviser to receive and review reports of purchases and sales by Access Persons. The term “Alternative Review Officer” means the officer of the Adviser designated from time to time by the Adviser to receive and review reports of purchases and sales by the Review Officer, and who shall act in all respects in the manner prescribed herein for the Review Officer. It is recognized that a different Review Officer and Alternative Review Officer may be designated with respect to each Adviser.
Reasonable person means a reasonable person under similar circumstances and with similar identities to the victim.
appropriate procedures means procedures reasonably designed to prevent and detect errors and omissions. In determining the reasonableness of such procedures, weight will be given to such factors as are appropriate, including the prior occurrence of any similar errors or omissions when such procedures were in place and transfer agent industry standards, if known, in place at the time of the occurrence.
Certified peace officer means a peace officer certified by the
prescribed officer means a person who, within a company, performs any function that has been designated by the Minister in terms of section 66(10);
Candidate Committee means a committee established by a candidate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-9(a), for the purpose of receiving contributions and making expenditures.
Decision-maker means a person who makes a determination regarding responsibility after the investigation has concluded. The Decision-maker cannot be the same person as the Title IX Coordinator, the Investigator, or the Appellate Decision-maker.
Senior Officer means (a) the chief executive officer, (b) the president, (c) any executive vice president, (d) the chief financial officer or (e) the treasurer, in each case of Borrower.
Contracting election officer means an election officer who enters into a contract
Japanese person means any person resident in Japan, including any corporation or other entity organized under the laws of Japan;
Company Officer means the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the President, each Vice President (whether or not designated by a number or word or words added before or after the title "Vice President"), the Secretary, the Treasurer, each Assistant Secretary and each Assistant Treasurer of the Company and every other officer or employee of the Company designated as a "Company Officer" for purposes hereof in a notice from the Company to the Auction Agent.
Privacy Officer means those offi- cials, identified in Appendix B to this part, who are authorized to receive and act upon inquiries, requests for access, and requests for correction or amend- ment.
BD Officer means each officer or employee of BD designated as a "BD Officer" for purposes of this Agreement in a communication to the Auction Agent.
Records officer means the individual appointed by the chief administrative officer of each governmental entity, or the political subdivision to work with state archives in the care, maintenance, scheduling, designation, classification, disposal, and preservation of records.
Hearings Officer means a person from time to time appointed by Council pursuant to the Hearings Officer By-law;
Appropriate bargaining unit means the unit designated by the Employment Relations Board
Company Representative means the person or persons appointed and approved in writing from time to time by the Company to act on its behalf for overall co- ordination.
