Annual Vacation Leave 8. 02.01 A full-time permanent or probationary employee shall earn vacation credits on the following basis: * 8.02.01.01 Fifteen (15) times the average daily hours of work of the employee in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their date of entry into a position with the City as a probationary or permanent employee occurs (0.576 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period). * 8.02.01.02 Twenty (20) times the average daily hours of work of the employee, in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their seventh (7th) anniversary of continuous service occurs (0.769 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period). * 8.02.01.03 Twenty-five (25) times the average daily hours of work of the employee, in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their sixteenth (16th) anniversary of continuous service occurs (0.961 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period). * 8.02.01.04 Thirty (30) times the average daily hours of work of the employee, in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their twenty- second (22nd) anniversary of continuous service occurs (1.154 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period). * 8.02.02 A full-time provisional or temporary employee shall earn vacation credits to a maximum of ten (10) times the average daily hours of work of the employee, in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their date of entry into a position with the City occurs (0.384 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period); after five (5) consecutive years of employment, fifteen (15) times the average daily hours of work of the employee in each vacation year commencing with the bi-weekly pay period in which their entry into a position with the City occurs (0.576 times the average daily hours of work, per bi-weekly pay period) in accordance with the provisions of the current Employment Standards Code.

  • Annual Vacation Leave 33.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Annual Vacation Employee shall be entitled to twenty (20) business days of paid vacation during each year of this Agreement. Employee may be absent from his employment for vacation at such times as are pre-approved by the Employer’s Chief Executive Officer.   • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Restoration of Vacation Leave In the event an employee is injured or becomes ill while on vacation leave, the employee may submit a written request to use sick leave and have the equivalent amount of vacation leave restored. The supervisor may require a written medical certificate.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.
