Annual Uniform and Equipment Allowance. Effective January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2019, each uniformed member, after his or her initial year of service, shall receive an annual uniform and equipment allowance in the amount of $1000. This allowance will be payable in two (2) semi-annual installments. The first semi-annual payment shall be made on either the following March 30 or September 30, whichever next follows the member's first anniversary date. Thereafter, these semi-annual payments shall be made on March 30 and September 30 of each calendar year. The uniform and equipment allowance shall be used by the member to maintain his/her required uniform, uniform parts, leather, and equipment including necessary replacement thereof.

Annual Uniform and Equipment Allowance. Each Member shall receive an annual uniform and equipment allowance in the amount of $900 for the purchase of uniforms, uniform parts, leather, and equipment. The allowance shall be used by the member to maintain his/her required uniform, uniform parts, leather, and equipment including necessary replacement thereof. The City shall pay the allowance to Members during the first full pay period in January of each year. Employees who separate from the City within ninety (90) days of the date the uniform allowance is paid must pay back seventy-five percent (75%) of the allowance paid to the employee. Employees who separate from the City within one hundred eighty (180) days of the date the uniform allowance is paid must pay back fifty percent (50%) of the allowance paid to the employee.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Motor allowance Employees who in the service of their employer use their own vehicles at the request of their employer shall be paid per kilometre at the rate detailed in Appendix A.
