UNIFORMS, EQUIPMENT AND ALLOWANCES. Section 17.1 Initial Issue Upon appointment to the Police Department, each member will be provided with an initial issue of uniforms and equipment. In 2019, the Township provided each member with a uniform allowance of Five hundred fifty dollars ($550) which was paid in January for the replacement of all uniforms and/or equipment items, other than body armor, worn out due to wear and tear. Starting January 1, 2020, the Township will replace all uniform and/or equipment items worn out due to regular wear and tear. The Township shall continue to provide and replace body armor at no cost to the employee. Further, every bargaining unit member will be reimbursed up to $125.00 annually for the purchase of footwear, i.e. boots or shoes. For those performing motorcycle duty for the Township, the Township will provide a one-time reimbursement of motorcycle boots up to $350.00, upon submission of receipts to the Police Chief or designee.

  • UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT Uniforms and equipment required by the Department to be worn/used by employees will be furnished by the Department.

  • Tool Allowances The Employer shall supply all tools and equipment required to perform the work.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT Section 1. The City shall provide and replace sufficient uniforms for uniformed employees where uniforms are required.

  • Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • PAY AND ALLOWANCES 6.1. REGULAR RATE OF PAY: The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Article 19. The regular rate of pay shall include any shift differential and/or longevity increment required to be paid under this Agreement.

  • Other Allowances The District shall pay to each teacher appointed by the District to the following positions, the Allowance respectively set forth opposite each such position, namely: Effective September 1, 2008
