Anniversary Awards. The Town Council recognizes the important contribution made by valued long-term employees and wishes to reward their service to the Town. Productive, long-term employees are the Town’s most valuable asset and are to be commended for their skill, talent, dedication, and service. The Town shall award employees for every five years of service to the Town according to the schedule herein provided. The following schedule of awards is intended to accompany a certificate of appreciation from the Town Council: Years of Service Award 5 years Council recognition and 20 hours of paid administrative leave 10 years Council recognition and 28 hours of paid administrative leave 15 years Council recognition and 36 hours of paid administrative leave 20 years Council recognition and 44 hours of paid administrative leave 25 years Council recognition and 84 hours of paid administrative leave 30 years Council recognition and 88 hours of paid administrative leave **For each following five-year increment, Council recognition and 88 hours of administrative leave. Paid administrative leave shall have no cash value and must be used within twelve (12) months of the employee’s anniversary date.

Anniversary Awards. Recognition will be given to employees for Company service at increments of every five (5) years between five (5) and thirty-five (35) years.
Anniversary Awards. The years of service in this section shall be the continuous employment by Legal Aid of West Virginia and all legal services entities that have existed in West Virginia. An employee who is recalled pursuant to Section 10 is considered to have continuous employment. Employees who have worked 10 years with the Program shall receive a $250.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $250.00 compensation (less taxes). Employees who have worked 15 years with the Program shall receive a $500.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $500.00 compensation (less taxes). Employees who have worked 20 years with the Program have the option of receiving $1000.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $1000.00 compensation (less taxes); and a plaque commemorating the event and will become eligible for the LAWV Hall of Fame. Employees who have worked 25 years with the Program have the option of receiving $1500.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $1500.00 compensation (less taxes); and a plaque commemorating the event. Employees who have worked 30 years with the Program and every five years thereafter have the option of receiving a $2000.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $2000.00 cash; and a plaque commemorating the event.

Employees who have worked 20 years with the Program have the option of receiving a $1000.00 savings bond, a $500.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $500.00 compensation (less taxes) ; and a plaque commemorating the event and will become eligible for the LAWV Hall of Fame. Employees who have worked 25 years with the Program have the option of receiving a $2000.00 savings bond, a $1000.00 employer contribution to their current 403(b) retirement plan over and above any other contribution the Program makes, or $1000.00 compensation (less taxes); and a plaque commemorating the event.
