AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. The Carriers will provide, at Amazon’s request, an appropriately certified and rated aircraft maintenance technician as a flight mechanic on each flight operated by the applicable Carrier for the first [***] days (extended to [***] days if any material service, reliability, or other issues are noted during the initial [***] days) after the entry into service of an Aircraft under this Agreement that is new or freshly converted. Amazon will pay to Carrier a per day rate of $[***] for each day that an aircraft maintenance technician is provided by a Carrier under this Section 2.21.

With the loss of the University line late in CA7, we were reduced to a single mechanic and that left the facility vulnerable to single point failures as well as a reduction in our safety margin. Xxxx Xxxx, a recent hire into the facility engineering group, is also a certified A&P mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA). We have initiated moving Xxxx into an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) position that will allow him to maintain his duties as an engineering technician and perform duties as an AMT. This move should be complete by the start of Year 3.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. The work of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician shall consist of all work generally recognized as Aircraft Maintenance Technician’s work performed by or on behalf of the Company in or about its domestic maintenance bases, shops and maintenance stations, including but not limited to wing walking, checks, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, replacing, assembling and erecting all parts of aircraft, aircraft engines, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, hydraulic systems and machine tool work in connection therewith. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians must hold such valid licenses as are required by the Federal Aviation Regulations to fulfill their duties as Aircraft Technicians.

  • Equipment Maintenance If this Contract involves computer or telecommunications hardware or other mechanical or electrical Equipment (use of the word "Equipment" means all the foregoing) as a Deliverable, then, during the warranty period and during any period covered by annual maintenance, the Contractor will provide Equipment maintenance to keep the Equipment in or restore the Equipment to good working order. This maintenance will include preventative and remedial maintenance, installation of safety changes, and installation of engineering changes based upon the specific needs of the individual item of Equipment. This maintenance will also include the repair, replacement, or exchange deemed necessary to keep the Equipment in good working order. For purposes of this Contract, Equipment restored to good working condition means Equipment that performs in accordance with the manufacturer's published specifications. The Contractor will exert its best efforts to perform all fault isolation and problem determination attributed to the Equipment covered under this Contract. The following services are outside the scope of this Contract:

  • Project Maintenance The Local Government shall be responsible for maintenance of locally owned roads and locally owned facilities after completion of the work. The State shall be responsible for maintenance of the state highway system after completion of the work if the work was on the state highway system, unless otherwise provided for in existing maintenance agreements with the Local Government.

  • Planned Maintenance (a) Sellers may designate up to twenty (20) Days of Planned Maintenance on Sellers’ Facilities during each Contract Year. Sellers shall be entitled to reduce (including down to zero (0)) its Gas scheduling under Clause 8 and Exhibit 3 for each Day of Planned Maintenance.
