01 - PREAMBLE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish and maintain collective bargaining relations between the Hospital and the employees covered by this Agreement; to provide for ongoing means of communication between the Union and the Hospital and the prompt disposition of grievances and the final settlement of disputes and to establish and maintain mutually satisfactory wages, hours of work and other conditions of employment in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. It is recognized that the employees wish to work efficiently together with the Hospital to secure the best possible care and health protection for patients."

01 - PREAMBLE. The following constitutes a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Hanford (“City”) and the Hanford Police Officers Association (“HPOA”) as a result of meeting and conferring in good faith concerning wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment and the City Council action pursuant to Government Code Section 3500 et. seq. and the City's Employer - Employee Relations Policy Chapter 12, Hanford Personnel Rules and Regulations.

  • PREAMBLE The parties agree that this article constitutes the method and procedure for a final and conclusive settlement of any dispute (hereinafter referred to as "the grievance") respecting the interpretation, application, operation or alleged violation of this Collective Agreement, including a question as to whether a matter is arbitrable.

  • Introductory Paragraph—Original THIS GUARANTY (this “Guaranty”), dated as of , 20 , is made by (the “Guarantor”), a organized and existing under the laws of , in favor of Ameren Illinois Company d/b/a Ameren Illinois (the “Guaranteed Party”), a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Illinois.   • Introductory Period ‌ The first 120 calendar days of continuous employment with the employer shall be considered an introductory period. During or at the conclusion of the introductory period, the Employer may decide to terminate the employment relationship for any reason without notice or pay in lieu of notice, and such termination shall not be subject to the grievance procedure. The introductory period, with mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union, may be an extended for up to 60 additional days.
