Trip definition

Trip means a period of travel away from home to a Destination outside the Insured’s City of residence; the purpose of the trip is business or pleasure and is not to obtain health care or treatment of any kind; the trip has defined Departure and Return Dates specified when the Insured applies; the trip does not exceed 364 days; travel is primarily by Common Carrier and only incidentally by private conveyance.
Trip means a scheduled trip for which coverage for Travel Arrangements is requested and the premium is paid prior to Your actual or Scheduled Departure Date of Your Trip a scheduled trip of 90 days or less and a trip of 50 miles or more from Your primary residence for which coverage is requested and the premium is paid.

Examples of Trip in a sentence

  • At the start of a Group Trip, each Rental is started, as well as ended, by the User separately.

  • The maximum number of rented IMD for a Group Trip in one account is 3 (Three), and it can be increased with the purchase of a Subscription by the User, if this is provided for by the description of the corresponding type of Subscription.

Trip means Participating Organization sponsored travel by air, land, or sea from the Covered Person’s Home Country. It includes the period of time from the start of the trip until its end provided the Covered Person is engaged in a Covered Activity or Personal Deviation if covered under the Policy.
