Standard Supply Service definition

Standard Supply Service. (“SSS”) means the service approved by the Board and in effect at the relevant time, which, among other things, establishes the minimum conditions that a distributor must meet in carrying out its obligations to sell electricity under section 29 of the Electricity Act.
Standard Supply Service means the manner in which a distributor must fulfill its obligation to sell electricity under section 29 of the Electricity Act or to give effect to rates determined by the Board under section 79.16 of the Act as set out in this Code;
Standard Supply Service means the sale of electricity in accordance with the provisions of section 29 of the Electricity Act, 1998;

  • The Licensee shall fulfill its obligation under section 29 of the Electricity Act to sell electricity in accordance with the requirements established in the Standard Supply Service Code, the Retail Settlement Code and the Licensee’s Rate Order as approved by the Board.

  • Disputes arising from charges relating to Standard Supply Service shall be directed to the Distributor.

Standard Supply Service means customers have not chosen to sign a contract with a licensed retailer and Tillsonburg Hydro, as required by the OEB, will provide the commodity (electricity) at wholesale market prices.
