Smart Building definition

Smart Building means a building that houses, for use by its tenants, an information or communications infrastructure capable of transmitting digital video, voice and data content over a high-speed wired, wireless or other communications intranet and provides the capability of delivering and receiving high-speed digital video, voice and data transmissions over the Internet.
Smart Building features such as fiber optic supported phone switching, teleconferencing and satellite link communications (raceways, sleeves and conduit to be provided by G.C., Systems to be provided by the Landlord). The building telephone system shall consist of 2 separate 4 inch underground conduit feeders from the telephone company manhole to the main telephone room in order to provide a diverse route in event of service interruption.
