Rejected Load definition

Rejected Load means a Held Load that the SBWMA has either a) inspected in
Rejected Load means those incoming deliveries of recyclable materials that consist of greater than ten percent (10%) Unacceptable Materials by weight, or any Hazardous Waste, and have been refused by WYCO Recycling.
Rejected Load means a Held Load that the SBWMA has either a) inspected in person or by utilizing photographs provided by the Contractor, and agreed that it does not meet the requirements of Exhibit B, Section 5 of this Agreement; or b) waived its right to inspect by not performing such an inspection within 8 Working Hours. Solid Waste means and includes all putrescible and nonputrescible solid, semisolid, and liquid wastes, including garbage, trash, refuse, rubbish, ashes, industrial wastes, construction and demolition wastes, discarded home and industrial appliances, manure, vegetable or animal solid and semisolid wastes, and other discarded solid and semisolid wastes, as defined in California Public Resources Code §40191 as that section may be amended from time to time. For the purposes of this Agreement, “Solid Waste” does not include Hazardous Substances, low-level radioactive waste, medical waste, or Organic Materials. South Bayside Waste Management Authority (SBWMA) means the joint powers authority created under Government Code Section 6500 et seq. by an agreement dated October 13, 1999; current Member Agencies include the Town of Hillsborough, the cities of Belmont, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Xxxxxx City, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Xxxxxx, and San Mateo, the County of San Mateo and the West Bay Sanitary District. SEC means the Shoreway Environmental Center (SEC) located at 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx and 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx and any other building and improvement located at these addresses in San Carlos, California (including the administration and vehicle repair and maintenance building) as its Facilities to be utilized under this Agreement.

Examples of Rejected Load in a sentence

  • There will be an Equipment Use/MRF Rejected Load Handling Charge assessed for any load of municipal recyclables that are rejected by the MRF, requiring reloading into a RIRRC vehicle for transfer to the landfill.

Related to Rejected Load

  • Designated loan means a loan se- cured by a building or mobile home that is located or to be located in a special flood hazard area in which flood insurance is available under the Act.

  • Permitted Loan means any bona fide loan or other extension of credit entered into by a Series A Preferred Unitholder or any of its Affiliates with one or more financial institutions and secured by a pledge, hypothecation or other grant of security interest in Series A Preferred Units, Series A Conversion Units, Common Units, or other assets.

  • Selected Bidder means the bidder who has been selected by DMRC, pursuant to the bidding process for award of license.

  • Supplier/ Successful or Selected bidder means the person, private or government entity, or a combination of the above, whose Bid to perform the Contract has been accepted by the Purchaser and is named as such in the Agreement, and includes the legal successors or permitted assigns of the successful/ selected bidder.
