MIGA Evaluation Officer definition

MIGA Evaluation Officer means the individual MIGA staff member appointed by the President of MIGA as the Evaluation and Suspension Officer to review proposed Notices of Sanctions Proceedings (“Notice”) and determine whether there is sufficient evidence in each case to issue a Notice to the named Respondent. The MIGA Evaluation Officer shall also have the authority to impose temporary suspensions from eligibility to be involved with a MIGA Project and to recommend an appropriate sanction based on the facts alleged in the Notice. The World Bank5 in respect of public sector projects, the World Bank in relation to private sector investment projects guaranteed by the Bank (a “Bank Guarantee Project”) and the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) shall each have their respective Evaluation Officer (the “Bank Evaluation Officer”, the “Bank Guarantee Project Evaluation Officer” and the “IFC Evaluation Officer”) in accordance with their own sanctions procedures.
MIGA Evaluation Officer means the individual MIGA staff member appointed by the President of MIGA to act in the capacity as evaluation and suspension officer for cases governed by these Procedures.
