Probation Officer (i.e., USPO) means an individual appointed by the United States District Court to provide pretrial, presentence and supervision (pre and post sentence) services for the court. “Probation Officer” refers to the individual responsible for the direct supervision of a client receiving drug/alcohol testing and/or treatment and/or mental health treatment services.
Chief election official means the state official or body that is authorized to certify the total number of popular votes for each presidential slate;
Contracting Officer means the person designated by the Director or his duly authorized representative to execute this Agreement on the behalf of the Judiciary, and any other successor Contracting Officer who has responsibility for this agreement. The term includes, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the authorized representative of a Contracting Officer acting within the limits of his written authority.
Information Officer means the Person acting on behalf of the Company and discharging the duties and responsibilities assigned to the Head of the Private Body by the Act. The Information Officer is duly authorised to act as such and such authorisation has been confirmed in writing by the Head of the Private Body.
Election official means any election officer, election judge, or poll worker.
Accounting Officer clause 65;
