Definition of Governmental Requirement


Governmental Requirement means any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, determination, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, franchise, permit, certificate, license, authorization or other directive or requirement, whether now or hereinafter in effect, including, without limitation, Environmental Laws, energy regulations and occupational, safety and health standards or controls, of any Governmental Authority.


Governmental Requirement means any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, determination, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, franchise, permit, certificate, license, rules of common law, authorization or other directive or requirement, whether now or hereinafter in effect, of any Governmental Authority.

Governmental Requirement means any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, franchise, license or other directive or requirement of any federal, state, county, municipal, parish, provincial or other Governmental Authority or any department, commission, board, court, agency or any other instrumentality of any of them.

Examples of Governmental Requirement in a sentence

If a Lender determines, as a result of any change in either (i) a Governmental Requirement or (ii) its circumstances, that it is unable to submit any form or certificate that it is obligated to submit pursuant to this Section 4.06, or that it is required to withdraw or cancel any such form or certificate previously submitted, it shall promptly notify the Borrower and the Administrative Agent of such fact.
No such designation or transfer shall result in any liability on the part of the Borrower for increased costs or expenses resulting solely from such designation or transfer (except any such transfer which is made by a Lender pursuant to Section 5.04 or Section 5.05, or otherwise for the purpose of complying with any Governmental Requirement).
Landlord may also at any reasonable time make any repairs or alterations which Landlord deems necessary for the safety or protection of the Project, or which Landlord is required to make by any court or pursuant to any Governmental Requirement.
Person" shall mean any natural person, any Governmental Authority and any entity the separate existence of which is recognized by any Governmental Authority or Governmental Requirement, including, but not limited to, corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, joint stock companies, trusts, estates, companies and associations, whether organized for profit or otherwise.
Debt (as defined in the other clauses of this definition) of a partnership for which such Person is liable either by agreement, by operation of law or by a Governmental Requirement, but only to the extent of such liability; provided, however, that “Debt” does not include (i) obligations with respect to surety, performance or appeal bonds and similar instruments, or (ii) trade accounts and other similar accounts that are payable no later than 120 days after invoice.

Governmental Requirement means any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, franchise, permit, certificate, license, authorization or other direction or requirement (including, without limitation, any of the foregoing which relate to environmental standards or controls, energy regulations and occupational, safety and health standards or controls) of any arbitrator, court or other Governmental Authority, which exercises jurisdiction over any Related Person or any of its Property.


Governmental Requirement means at any time (i) any law, statute, code, ordinance, order, rule, regulation, judgment, decree, injunction, writ, edict, award, authorization or other requirement of any Governmental Authority in effect at that time or (ii) any obligation included in any certificate, certification, franchise, permit or license issued by any Governmental Authority or resulting from binding arbitration, including any requirement under common law.

Governmental Requirement means all Laws, judgments, orders, writs, injunctions, opinions, decrees, awards, tariff requirements, franchises, permits, certificates, licenses, authorizations, interpretations and the like and any other requirements of any Governmental Authority.

Governmental Requirement means any order, permit, law, statute (including, without limitation, any Environmental Protection Statute), code, ordinance, rule, regulation, certificate, or other direction or requirement of any Governmental Authority.

Governmental Requirement means any applicable state, federal or local law, statute, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, order or decree.

Governmental Requirement means all laws, statutes, codes, ordinances and governmental rules, regulations and requirements of any governmental authority that are applicable to the Parties, the property of the Parties or activities described in or contemplated by this Agreement.
