GI Field definition

GI Field means all potential uses in humans, including, without limitation, the diagnosis and/or the prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of diseases or disorders in humans.
GI Field means the prevention, diagnosis, theragnosis or treatment of any gastroenterological or gastrointestinal disease or disorders in humans, including but not limited to [***]
GI Field means identifying, detecting or treating any disease or condition within, related to or affecting the gastrointestinal tract and/or appended mucosal surfaces (including the oral cavity, sino-nasal cavity, larynx, pharynx and large airways), other than with respect to matters included within the scope of the definition of “Field” under this Agreement, including without limitation the guiding of chemotherapy and staging and/or monitoring any such disease or condition.

  • Any such termination will not affect Xxxx’x rights and obligations in the GI Field of Use.

  • Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Takeda hereby grants to Xxxxx, and Xxxxx hereby accepts: a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, without the right to sublicense, to use Xxxxx Accessible FIN-524 Phase I/II Clinical Data and Xxxxx Accessible FIN-525 Phase I/II Clinical Data to design products in the Field other than GI Field; provided that Xxxxx notifies Takeda prior to exercising such license and pays the following considerations to Takeda.

  • Except to the extent provided otherwise in Section 2.4 above, during the term of this Agreement, MetaMorphix shall not develop or commercialize any GI Excluded Product in the MetaMorphix Field and GI shall not develop or commercialize any MetaMorphix Excluded Product in the GI Field.

  • In the event that either Party has cause to believe that a Third Party may be infringing and/or misappropriating any of the Licensed Technology in the GI Field or an Expanded Field in the Territory, it will promptly notify the other Party in writing, identifying the alleged infringer and the alleged infringement and/or misappropriation complained of and furnishing the information upon which such determination is based.

  • In the event that technological evolution in the GI Field and the Faroudja Field results in an overlapping of the two Fields, one party may give notice of this evaluation to the other party.

  • In order for JBI to retain its right to develop the JBI [***] Development Candidate in the Expanded GI Field, JBI shall pay an expansion fee of $[***] (“Expansion Fee”) to Ionis upon JBI’s decision to progress the JBI [***] Development Candidate to a [***] [***] with [***] delivery.

  • If JBI has not paid Ionis the Expansion Fee in accordance with this section 4.1.6 by the start of the [***], then JBI’s right to develop the JBI [***] Development Candidate in the Expanded GI Field will expire.

GI Field means processes, algorithms and electronic circuitry used for (a) data (including video, audio and combinations thereof) compression and decompression, (b) conversion of film to video and video to film, only to the extent that such conversion of film to video and video to film does not make use of video line multiplication, including scanning line doubling, tripling and quadrupling as well as increasing video lines by a non-integral factor, or (c) scan conversion for the modification of source material presented to a compression system.

Related to GI Field

  • Licensed Field means all fields of use.

  • Licensed Field of Use means all fields.

  • Light field means that area of the intersection of the light beam from the beam-limiting device and one of the set of planes parallel to and including the plane of the image receptor, whose perimeter is the locus of points at which the illumination is one-fourth of the maximum in the intersection.

  • X-ray field means that area of the intersection of the useful beam and any one of the set of planes parallel to and including the plane of the image receptor, whose perimeter is the locus of points at which the exposure rate is one-fourth of the maximum in the intersection.

  • Licensed Fields of Use means the fields of use identified in Appendix B.

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • geographical indication , in relation to goods, means an indication which identifies such goods as agricultural goods, natural goods or manufactured goods as originating, or manufactured in the territory of a country, or a region or locality in that territory, where a given quality, reputation or other characteristic of such goods is essentially attributable to its geographical origin and in case where such goods are manufactured goods one of the activities of either the production or of processing or preparation of the goods concerned takes place in such territory, region or locality, as the case may be.

  • Licensed Products means tangible materials which, in the course of manufacture, use, sale, or importation, would be within the scope of one or more claims of the Licensed Patent Rights that have not been held unpatentable, invalid or unenforceable by an unappealed or unappealable judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Licensed Territory means worldwide.

  • Competing Product means […***…].

  • Licensed Product means a product, method or service in the Licensed Field of Use, the making, having made, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent.

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Competing Products means any product or service in existence or under development that competes with any product or service of the Company Group about which the Participant obtained Confidential Information or for which the Participant provided advisory services or had sales, origination, marketing, production, distribution, research or development responsibilities in the last twenty-four (24) months of employment with the Company Group.

  • Licensed Compound means [***].

  • Commercialize or “Commercialization” means the marketing, promotion, sale (and offer for sale or contract to sell), distribution, importation or other commercial exploitation (including pricing and reimbursement activities) for a Product in the Territory. Commercialization shall include commercial activities conducted in preparation for Product launch.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Research License means a nontransferable, nonexclusive license to make and to use the Licensed Products or the Licensed Processes as defined by the Licensed Patent Rights for purposes of research and not for purposes of commercial manufacture or distribution or in lieu of purchase.

  • Exclusive Territory means (1) the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana; and

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • complex product means a product which is composed of multiple components which can be replaced permitting disassembly and re-assembly of the product.

  • Commercialized shall have corresponding meanings.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Commercializing means to engage in Commercialization and “Commercialized” has a corresponding meaning.
