Commercialize definition

Commercialize or “Commercialization” means the marketing, promotion, sale (and offer for sale or contract to sell), distribution, importation or other commercial exploitation (including pricing and reimbursement activities) for a Product in the Territory. Commercialization shall include commercial activities conducted in preparation for Product launch.
Commercialize means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.
Commercialize means to engage in Commercialization.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Novartis’ application of Commercially Reasonable Efforts shall not require Novartis to Commercialize a Product in any country or territory in which Novartis reasonably determines it is not commercially reasonable to do so for such Product.
