Full Time Temporary Employee definition

Full Time Temporary Employee means an Employee hired or used in accordance with this Agreement to perform work of a transient nature in a specific job on a full time basis for a continuous period of twelve (12) consecutive months or less. The hours of work of such Employee shall be governed by Article 15 and all other applicable provisions of this Agreement.
Full Time Temporary Employee means any individual who is employed in a full-time position (i.e., 30 hours or more per week) but the job is temporary (i.e., less than one (1) year except in extraordinary situations). All full-time, temporary employees are classified as exempt or non-exempt. For purposes of the Affordable Care Act, any full-time, temporary employee who works in excess of three (3) months during the academic year is considered a full-time employee for purposes of an offer of health insurance.

Examples of Full Time Temporary Employee in a sentence

  • A Full Time Temporary Employee shall not be entitled to any severance pay pursuant to Article 44.

  • Seniority for a Full Time Temporary Employee shall be calculated in accordance with Clause 11.03 and all other applicable provisions of this Agreement.

  • The definition of "Full Time Temporary Employee" shall be as given in Clause 9.01.

  • Before using a Full Time Temporary Employee to replace a Full Time Regular or a Full Time Temporary Employee who is absent from his or her position for any reason for a temporary period of twelve (12) consecutive months or less, or extended period agreed upon in accordance with Clause 9.01(b) above, the Employer shall first temporarily promote all eligible Employees pursuant to Clause 14.06 to fill the temporary vacancy and any temporary vacancies which arise as a result of such temporary promotion.

  • However, a Full Time Temporary Employee shall be entitled to ten (10) working days prior written notice of termination, or pay in lieu of such notice, unless the employee is advised in writing at the time of their engagement of the date of their termination of employment and the employee continues working until this date, in which case no other notice of termination, or pay in lieu of such notice, shall be required.

  • The Employer shall not hire or use any Full- Time Temporary Employee for less than the 1 year period specified above to avoid the continuance, creation or filling of positions for or by Full-Time Temporary Employees who are subject to this premium.

  • Any Employee who changes employment status from Full Time Regular, Part Time Regular or Full Time Temporary Employee to another of these categories of employment, without a break in service, shall be credited with all seniority accrued in accordance with this Agreement prior to such change in employment status.

  • Full Time Temporary Employee 72 ½ hours/10 days Part Time Temporary Employee No Entitlement Probationary Employee 72 ½ hours/10 days (as per 6.01(a)) Payments under Article 16.10 shall not affect the employee’s paid sick leave entitlement.

The employment of temporary employees hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration shall be limited to a period of ninety (90) days of work in any twelve (12) month period, commencing from the date of hire or commencement of employment in such period. The period of employment for temporary employees hired for all other purposes shall be limited to twelve (12) months. A project or assignment of limited duration shall not exceed eighteen (18) weeks’ duration in any twelve (12) month period. Any projects or assignments of limited duration in excess of that provided for herein will be posted.

  • Auxiliary Employee meaning an employee who is employed for work which is not of a continuous nature such as:

  • Hourly employee means an employee who is compensated on an hourly basis for each hour of work performed, including time worked beyond 40 hours in a workweek.

  • Male employee means an employed male who is caring for a child borne of his spouse or a child placed with the employee for adoption purposes.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or "TANF" means the program administered by the Department through which a relative can receive monthly cash assistance for the support of his eligible children.

  • Non-Employee means a consultant, adviser, service provider, Controlling Shareholder or any other person who is not an Employee.

  • Bona fide employee means a person, employed by a bidder and subject to the bidder's supervision and control as to time, place, and manner of performance, who neither exerts, nor proposes to exert improper influence to solicit or obtain contracts nor holds out as being able to obtain any contract(s) through improper influence.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Academic employee Academic employee shall mean an employee in the Professional Services Negotiating Unit with academic or qualified academic rank.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.
