Environmental and Social Management Plan definition

Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means a site-specific environmental and social management plan to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF and acceptable to the Association, setting forth a set of mitigation, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project activities to eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, and including the actions needed to implement these measures.
Environmental and Social Management Plan means the Recipient’s document prepared in accordance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework with respect to an activity, that details: (i) the measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the activity to eliminate or offset adverse environmental or social impacts, or to reduce them to acceptable levels, and (ii) the actions needed to implement these measures.
Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means the plan to be adopted by the Borrower pursuant to paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to this Agreement;

More Definitions of Environmental and Social Management Plan

Environmental and Social Management Plan or “EMP” means the Recipient’s document prepared and disclosed in accordance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework with respect to the Project (or a Sub-project), that details: (i) the measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project (or a Sub-project) to eliminate or offset adverse environmental or social impacts, or to reduce them to acceptable levels, and (ii) the actions needed to implement these measures.
Environmental and Social Management Plan means with respect to each activity under the Project pursuant to which the ESMF requires it, a plan, such plan to be prepared by the Recipient pursuant to Section I.D.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, in accordance with the provisions of the ESMF and approved by the Association, setting out measures to mitigate any adverse environmental and social impacts arising from such activities; and “ESMPs” means more than one ESMP.
Environmental and Social Management Plan means the plan, dated February 17, 2006, agreed with the World Bank and outlining measures for the mitigation of the potential adverse environmental and social impact associated with activities to be implemented under the Project, as the same may be amended from time to time with the concurrence of the World Bank, and such term includes the Environmental and Social Management Framework and any schedules to the Environmental and Social Management Plan.
Environmental and Social Management Plan. (or ESMP) means environmental and social management plan provided as part of an application for artisanal mining;

Environmental and Social Management Plan means the Recipient’s plan, dated March 7, 2008, part of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, agreed with the Association and setting out mitigation, enhancement, monitoring, and institutional measures, including capacity building through training, that have been identified by the Recipient to eliminate any adverse environmental and social impacts of Project activities, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, or enhance positive impacts, as the same may be modified from time to time with the concurrence of the Association, and such term includes any schedules to said Plan.
