Contaminant definition

Contaminant means any waste, pollutant, hazardous substance, toxic substance, hazardous waste, special waste, petroleum or petroleum-derived substance or waste, asbestos in any form or condition, polychlorinated biphenyls ("PCBs"), or any constituent of any such substance or waste.
Contaminant means any physical, chemical, biological, or radiological substance or matter in water.
Contaminant means any pollutant, hazardous substance, toxic substance, hazardous waste or other substance regulated or forming the basis of liability under any Environmental Law.

Contaminant means a computer virus, worm, lock, mole, time bomb, Trojan horse, rootkit, spyware, keystroke logger, or any other malicious code or instruction which may modify, delete, damage, disable, or disrupt the operation of any computer software or hardware.

Contaminant means a substance present in drinking water that may adversely affect the health of the consumer or the aesthetic qualities of the water.
Contaminant includes any material, substance, chemical, gas, liquid, waste, effluent, pollutant or contaminant which, whether on its own or admixed with another, is identified or defined in or regulated by or pursuant to any Environmental Laws or which upon release into the Environment presents a danger to the Environment or to the health or safety or welfare of any Person.
