Definition of Pollutants

  1. Pollutants means any solid, liquid, gaseous or thermal substance, irritant or contaminant, including carbon, smoke, vapor, soot, fumes, acids, alkalis, chemicals or waste (including any materials to be recycled, reconditioned or reclaimed, and including any product once it has entered the waste stream).
  2. Pollutants means any substance which is hazardous to persons or property and includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing:

Examples of Pollutants in a sentence

  1. Hazardous Materials means all substances defined as Hazardous Substances, Oils, Pollutants or Contaminants in the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan, 40 C.F.R.
  2. The Tenant shall not bring into or allow to be present in the Leased Premises or the Project any Pollutants except such as are disclosed in Schedule H hereto.
  3. Environmental Laws means any applicable federal, state or local Law relating to (i) the protection, preservation or restoration of the environment, and/or (ii) the use, storage, recycling, treatment, generation, transportation, processing, handling, labeling, production, release or disposal of Pollutants.

Pollutants means any substance which is hazardous to persons or property and includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing:
