ACME Client Software definition

ACME Client Software. A software application that uses the ACME protocol to request, accept, use or manage Let’s Encrypt Certificates. “Certificate” — A computer-based record or electronic message issued by an entity that associates a “Public Key” with an Internet domain name or other technical identifiers and is Digitally Signed by the issuing entity. “CRL” — A database or other list of Certificates that have been revoked prior to the expiration of their Validity Period.
