Work in a Lower Classification. While an employee is performing the duties of a position classified in a grade lower than that in which the employee performs his/her regular duties, he/she will be compensated at his/her regular rate of pay as if performing his/her regular duties. Such employee will be returned to his/her regular duties at the earliest possible date.
Work in a Lower Classification. Where the Employer requires an employee to work temporarily in a lower rated classification, the employee shall be paid the rate for his or her regular classification.
Work in a Lower Classification. A. When an employee is assigned by his/her supervisor to perform the duties of a position classified in a grade lower than that in which the employee performs his/her duties, s/he will be compensated at his/her regular rate of pay as if performing his/her regular duties.
Work in a Lower Classification. When an employee is temporarily performing work in a lower classification, he/she shall suffer no reduction in pay. However, if permanently performing work in a lower classification he/she shall be properly classified and receive the pay of the lower classification.

When an employee is assigned by the CEO to perform the duties of a position classified in a grade lower than that in which the employee performs his/her duties, he/she will be compensated at his/her regular rate of pay as if performing his/her regular duties. An employee who is assigned by the CEO to perform overtime work in a lower classification shall have overtime compensation computed at the employee’s regular rate of compensation.
