Work During Pregnancy. A pregnant employee may continue to work at the College as long as she (1) is able to do so in the light of her physical condition and her essential job duties. The College will comply with any reasonable accommodation requirements. Any question as to an employee’s ability to continue working during her pregnancy or to return to work after the termination of her pregnancy will be determined on the basis of medical certification as provided under the FMLA.

Work During Pregnancy. The Company cannot require an FCM to take leave in case of pregnancy unless she is no longer able to perform an essential function of her position. It is incumbent upon the Company to prove the FCM’s inability to perform such essential function.
Work During Pregnancy. A teacher who is or becomes pregnant during the school year may continue to teach until such time as the pregnancy makes it difficult to carry on normal teaching responsibilities. This time should be mutually agreed upon by the teacher, her physician and her school principal. Should there be a disagreement in this matter, then the final decision will be made by the Superintendent based primarily on the physician’s recommendation of the pregnant teacher’s overall physical ability to continue normal work.
