Work During Vacation. Should an employee who has commenced his scheduled vacation and agrees upon request by the Hospital to return to perform work during the vacation period, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times his basic straight time rate for all hours so worked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed, the employee will receive one (1) vacation lieu day off for each day on which he has so worked.
Work During Vacation. Except in emergencies no employee shall be required to work during the employee’s vacation once a vacation request has been approved.
Work During Vacation. Any regular full time employee who is requested to work and does work during his/her vacation period shall be paid at a rate of time and one-half the employee’s straight time hourly rate. For purposes of computing additional overtime, only hours actually worked shall be counted toward the 40 hours. The hours or days worked, however, shall be added to the remainder of the employee’s vacation bank.
Work During Vacation. No Employee shall be required to work during a scheduled vacation period. (i.e. Periods of paid vacation days and/or periods consisting of both paid and unpaid days where the unpaid days are contiguous with both the beginning and end of the paid vacation days.) However, should an Employee agree to work when requested during scheduled vacation, the Employee shall be paid at double the regular rate of pay. The vacation credits shall not be reduced for the previously scheduled vacation time that was rescheduled to work. Further the Employee shall be permitted to reschedule her or his vacation leave at a time mutually agreed between the Employee and the Employer.
Work During Vacation. Should an employee who has commenced her scheduled vacation and agrees upon request by the County to return to perform work during the vacation period, then that employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1.5) times her basic straight- time rate for all hours so worked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed, the employee will receive one (1) vacation lieu day off for each day on which she has so worked. A vacation lieu day shall be interpreted as the number of hours of vacation credits an employee would have used had he remained on vacation and not worked on that day. There must be twenty-four (24) hours between the end of the last scheduled shift worked and the commencement of the next scheduled shift.
Work During Vacation. When an Employee agrees to come into work at the request of the Employer while on scheduled vacation, s/he shall be paid at double her/his regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked and the vacation hours shall be re-scheduled to be taken at a time convenient to the Employee and the Employer.

ILLNESSDURING VACATION clause is applicable to full-time "Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to serious illness, which either commenced prior to or during the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave. Serious illness is defined as an illness which requires the employee to receive on-going medical care and/or treatments resulting in either hospitalization or which would confine the employee to their residence or to bed rest for more than three days. The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be sick leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits Bereavement During Vacation The following will appear in all collective agreements and will replace any provision dealing with bereavement during vacation that existed in the Hospital's expiring collective agreement: Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a bereavement, the employee shall be entitled to bereavement leave in accordance with Article The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be bereavement leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits.
