The Subrecipient will provide a location for meetings that will be available seven (7) days per week, and peer support for individuals and families suffering from substance disorders, which have increased as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Groups will be offered for Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Alateen, Cocaine Anonymous, Primary Purpose, Nicotine Anonymous and Spanish Speaking Alcohol Anonymous. Subrecipient’s location will provide meetings, counseling, events and social activities to individuals practicing the 12-Step Recovery program. Subrecipient will complete construction of a new 6,175 square foot building on Leander Drive in Leander, Texas to further facilitate recovery of individuals and provide a location for peer support activities. Subrecipient will hold a minimum of forty (40) meetings per week, which will be available to any individual with substance abuse problems, regardless of race, creed, color or ethnicity. Subrecipient will also provide peer support for individuals ordered to attend recovery meetings by Williamson County Judges and to raise awareness of recovery solutions. Family Eldercare will provide an array of supportive services to support housing stability for identified individuals. The goal is to reduce homelessness and increase housing sustainability for individuals in Williamson County. The objective is to house at minimum twenty-five (25) individuals during the term of this agreement; of which fifteen (15) individuals will obtain housing at Community First Village.
