Square Foot definition

Square Foot or “Square Footage” means the square footage within the living area of a Residential Unit or net leasable square footage of a non-residential structure reflected on a Condominium Plan, Building Permit for new construction, or other such document. If the Square Footage from the Condominium Plan is inconsistent with the Square Footage reflected on the Building Permit issued for construction of a Residential Unit, the Square Footage from the Condominium Plan shall be used to determine the Target Special Tax pursuant to Section C.2 below. Square footage within a Residential Unit that is used as a home office or an at-home business venture shall not be categorized as Non-Residential Property.
Square Foot means square foot of gross building floor area.
Square Foot or “Square Footage” means the square footage of a Residential Unit or non- residential structure reflected on a condominium plan, site plan, building permit for new construction, or other such document. If the Square Footage shown on a site plan or condominium plan is inconsistent with the Square Footage reflected on the building permit issued for construction of the Residential Unit or non-residential building, the greater of the two numbers shall be used to calculate the Maximum Special Tax pursuant to Section C below.

More Definitions of Square Foot

Square Foot means a square foot of gross floor area within the interior walls of a building or portions thereof.
Square Foot and "square footage" means the horizontal areas of all floors, including usable basement and cellars, below the roof and within the outer surface of the main walls of buildings (or the center lines of party walls separating such buildings or portions thereof) or within lines drawn parallel to and two feet within the roof line of any building or portion thereof without walls (which includes square footage of all porches), and including pedestrian access walkways or corridors, but excluding the following:
Square Foot or “Square footage” means the sum of all areas on all floors of a building or structure included within the outside faces of its exterior walls, including all vertical penetration areas, for circulation and shaft areas that connect one floor to another, disregarding cornices, pilasters, buttresses, and similar structures, that extend beyond the wall faces.
Square Foot or “Square Footage” means the maximum amount of Cannabis Cultivation Area for Commercial Cannabis Cultivation authorized by a City Permit issued to a person engaging in a Commercial Cannabis Business, or by a state license in the absence of a City permit or license, not deducting for unutilized square footage, and shall be the basis for the tax base for Cultivation.
