Voter Eligibility. A record of voters in each election shall be maintained by the Program Coordinator. Eligible voters must be an MSU non-teaching employee who has completed their probationary period, if applicable, and is employed at an FTE of 0.5 or higher. Fixed-term, temporary, and student employees are not eligible to vote. To determine voting eligibility, voters will have to answer a question about their eligibility status prior to casting their vote. The questions will be in the form of yes or no answers as part of the ballot.

Voter Eligibility. Unless otherwise indicated below, the eligible voters shall be all Eligible Employees who were employed on the eligibility cutoff date indicated below, and who are still employed on the date they cast their ballots in the election, i.e., the date the voted ballot is received by the elections officer. Eligible Employees who are ill, on vacation, on leave of absence or sabbatical, temporarily laid off, and employees who are in the military service of the United States shall be eligible to vote.
Voter Eligibility. All STA members who expect to be assigned to the school and whose work schedule will be impacted by the proposal are eligible to vote. Member Eligibility: To be eligible to serve on MSUASC the following must apply: Permanent MSU employee holding at least a .5 FTE in a staff position Fixed-term, temporary, and student employees are not eligible to serve on MSUASC. Employee must have successfully completed their probationary period, if applicable. The employee’s primary role at MSU must be staff. MSUASC recognizes that staff may hold secondary positions at MSU, such as teaching, etc., however they are eligible to serve on MSUASC if their primary role is a staff position. As nominations are made, eligibility will be verified by the Program Coordinator.
