Vacation Pay / Statutory Holidays. A part-time Special Constable shall receive four per cent (4%) of the hourly rate for each hour worked in lieu of vacation time. This amount will be calculated bi-weekly and paid with the regular earnings for that pay period. A part-time Special Constable shall be entitled to Statutory Holidays in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act. He/she shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the member’s hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on any statutory holiday as listed in Article 9 of the Civilian Collective Agreement. In addition, the member shall receive one (1) hour straight time for each hour worked in lieu of any statutory holiday on which he/she is on duty.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled in each calendar year to four (4) weeks of paid vacation time. Each vacation shall be taken by Executive at such time or times as agreed upon by the Company and Executive, and any portion of Executive’s allowable vacation time not used during the calendar year shall be subject to the Company’s payroll policies regarding carryover vacation. Executive shall be entitled to holiday and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s holiday and other pay for time not worked policies.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above-named holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus double their base rate for all hours worked on such holiday, plus shift differential if applicable, unless the employee starts to work at 10:00 P.M., or thereafter on that day.

  • Annual Holidays (i) On completion of 12 months continuous service an employee shall be entitled to annual paid leave of 4 working weeks.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.
