Unqualified Drivers. In addition to an employee’s loss of their valid driver’s license or other work-required driving license endorsements, employees are not qualified to drive company vehicles if their MVR or Employer records reveal any of the following items:

Unqualified Drivers. Employees are not qualified to drive Employer vehicles if they lose their CDL, ADL or the Employer’s insurance carrier excludes them from coverage for any underwriting reason. Employees are also not qualified to drive Employer vehicles if their Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) or Employer records reveal any of the following items:

Unqualified Drivers. TRAINING FOR The parties hereby agree that in cases where the Company hires drivers who require training to be able to safely handle the type of freight regularly handled by the Company, said drivers will be assigned to work with an experienced driver for up to two weeks. Said employees will be paid ten dollars ($10.00) per hour or the minimum wage in effect at the time, whichever is greater, to a maximum of ten (10) hours per day. Following the two weeks training, said employees will be paid full regular rates of pay as per Article 35 of this Collective Agreement. The parties may agree to extend the above mentioned two (2) week period by one (1) additional week. The driver providing the training will receive a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) per day allowance while providing training. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #5 - RE: TRACTOR
