Uniforms or Special Clothing. Rainwear shall be made available to caretakers. The Employer shall provide all regular employees with three (3) shirts and one (1) hoodie. It is the responsibility of employees to care for the clothing. The Employer shall provide employees with new shirts each calendar year and such clothing will be replaced when worn out. The employee will be charged the cost of misplaced or lost clothing on a pro rata basis.

Uniforms or Special Clothing. Rainwear shall be made available to Groundskeepers, Maintenance Workers and Caretakers. It is the responsibility of employees to care for the rainwear and such rainwear will be replaced when worn out. The employee will be charged the cost of misplaced or lost rainwear on a pro rata basis.
Uniforms or Special Clothing. (a) Wearing of Employer issue uniforms is compulsory by the employee. Such uniforms shall be maintained in a clean and orderly condition by the employee. All clothing supplied shall remain Commission property. Rain wear shall be supplied to Groundskeepers, Maintenance Workers, Janitors, Building Managers, and Grounds and Maintenance Foremen. The provision of rain boots or other suitable footwear is the responsibility of the employee and must meet WCB Regulation Standards. Reimbursement for such footwear will be in accordance with Article 22.8(b). In the event the Employer requires any employee to clean/or evacuate a suite that has had a death in it, or a diseased condition in it, the Employer shall provide throwaway protective gloves, xxxxx and shoe covers, to prevent contamination of others.

  • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 214. For employees required by the Appointing Officer to wear a uniform, beginning in fiscal year 2006-2007 and continuing for the duration of this Agreement, the City agrees to provide a uniform allowance each year in the amount of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850). The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.

  • HELMETS TO HARDHATS Section 1. The Contractors and the Unions recognize a desire to facilitate the entry into the building and construction trades of veterans who are interested in careers in the building and construction industry. The Contractors and Unions agree to utilize the services of the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment (hereinafter “Center”) and the Center’s “Helmets to Hardhats” program to serve as a resource for preliminary orientation, assessment of construction aptitude, referral to apprenticeship programs or hiring halls, counseling and mentoring, support network, employment opportunities and other needs as identified by the parties.
