UNFORESEEN WORK. If any UNFORESEEN WORK arises during the performance of the FACILITY WORK, it shall be performed under the TASK ORDER that is applicable to the FACILITY WORK under which it arose in connection with. If the UNFORESEEN WORK does not arise in connection with any FACILITY WORK, it shall be treated as a separate phase or segment of the PROJECT(s) under this Agreement. AUTHORITY reserves the right to make the final determination as to whether any UNFORESEEN WORK must be performed and OWNER shall be obligated to comply with AUTHORITY’s determination.

UNFORESEEN WORK. The client shall pay all additional charges resulting from work not provided by this agreement, but that becomes necessary during the course of the execution of the work. In such an event, the nature of the additional work shall be set out in writing and approved in advance by the client. The price for the work shall be equal to its cost, plus a percentage of such cost representing administration and profit, at the rate of %, plus taxes. The payment shall be due upon presentation of a bill, with the supporting documentation.

  • Emergency Work Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.

  • Unsafe Work (a) An employee may exercise their right to refuse to do unsafe work pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • THE WORK The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.

  • Day Work (a) The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and the normal work day shall be seven and one-half (7½) consecutive hours, exclusive of a meal period, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The normal work week shall be Monday to Friday inclusive.

  • Dirty Work Where an employee and their supervisor agree that work (other than ship repair work) is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 43 cents per hour extra. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that certain ship repair work is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 58 cents per hour extra.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.

  • Force Majeure Events a) Neither Party shall be responsible or liable for or deemed in breach hereof because of any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations hereunder (except for obligations to pay money due prior to occurrence of Force Majeure events under this Agreement) or failure to meet milestone dates due to any event or circumstance (a "Force Majeure Event") beyond the reasonable control of the Party experiencing such delay or failure, including the occurrence of any of the following:

  • Unforeseen Circumstances Contractor is not responsible for any delay caused by natural disaster, war, civil disturbance, labor dispute or other cause beyond Contractor's reasonable control, provided Contractor gives written notice to County of the cause of the delay within 10 days of the start of the delay.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.
