Temporary Appointment Out of Bargaining Unit. Employees who are temporarily appointed to positions outside of the bargaining unit for a period not to exceed six (6) months shall continue to pay Union dues and will retain the right to return to their previous position within the bargaining unit. Such appointment shall not exceed six (6) months except by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. The successful applicant to a temporary posted position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of up to six (6) months will continue to pay Union dues and will retain the right to the previous position within the bargaining unit.
