JOB DEFINITIONS. The job definitions included herein are intended to be general guidelines regarding the duties to be performed by an employee holding a particular classification and are not to be construed as restrictions on the duties an employee may perform. Any employee may be assigned to perform the duties of a classification which has an equal or lower wage rate, and any employee may be assigned to perform other duties which are related to those defined in the employee's particular job classification. Compensation, when assigned to perform duties of an equal, lower, or higher wage rate, shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding.
JOB DEFINITIONS. Aerodrome Attendant" means an employee employed principally in driving and/or operating any aviation refuelling or servicing unit or equipment or hydrant dispensing system at an aerodrome to deliver aviation fuels, lubricants and/or other aviation products to aircraft and in receiving, storing and distributing such fuels, lubricants and other products at an aerodrome depot, including the performance as required of all tasks ancillary to such receipt, storage, distribution and delivery, together with other ancillary responsibilities related to the arrival and departure of aircraft, including cleaning of aircraft, ground handling, off site transport deliveries, inventory stock control, facilities maintenance and housekeeping/gardening, and general administrative duties: Provided that this definition shall not be construed to exclude allotment by the Employer of other duties connected with the safe and efficient operation of vehicles, units, plant and equipment, and the general tidiness of facilities at an airport depot and the safety of personnel, or the bridging of stocks from terminals or depots to airports by an aerodrome attendant as listed in “Minor Maintenance Aviation” below. * "Assistant Aerodrome Attendant" means any person other than the driver or operator referred to as an "Aerodrome Attendant" hereof who is employed in or in connection with the refuelling or servicing of aircraft, and is capable of performing the general range of duties under the direction of the Employer or the employers nominee. JOB DEFINITIONS. Lead Pipeline Inspector - CWI 52111405 A qualif ied employee with the craf t qualifications and skills of the Pipeline Inspector - CWI who leads an inspection team, coordinates work, and provides guidance, technical expertise, and logistical support on gas transmission pipeline. Such employee shall have the personal qualif ications of leadership and supervisory ability. The Lead Pipeline Inspector – CWI oversees and reviews inspection work, conducts team tailboards, mentors, and helps develop the skills of the team. Assists in root-cause investigations for any reportable events and provides knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert to Estimating, Engineering, Codes & Standards, Academy, and other applicable teams. In addition, the Lead Pipeline Inspector - CWI shall: • Possess (as of the control date of the vacancy) and maintain AWS CWI, American Petroleum Institute (API) 1169, XXXX CIP 2, and any other certifications as required. • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience inspecting gas transmission pipelines (see note below) • Have passed GAS-0860 Introduction to Strength Testing (Hydrotest Training) • Have and maintain all required operator qualifications • Pass the jointly developed Lead Inspector Technical Test for Transmission, pending Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) approval • Pass the leadership assessment, once developed *Note – incumbent employees listed in Attachment 3 must have only a minimum of two years’ experience inspecting gas transmission pipelines. JOB DEFINITIONS. Compensation Specialist refers to an employee having the credentials and training to perform the services provided by the employer in the Province of Ontario. A P1 License and good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada are currently a legal requirement to provide representation services with regards to WSIB issues in Ontario. Compensation Specialist I is a position designed to serve as the lead Paralegal and will handle the most complex files as received by referral in addition to carrying a full case load of his/her own. Additionally this person is expected to serve in a leadership role providing guidance to all other employee paralegals in their case management process. There may only be a maximum of one Compensation Specialist I at any one time. Compensation Specialist II is the current designation given to Paralegals in the employ of BTWSA who are fully trained and well-versed with all levels of WSIB-WSIAT representation. Compensation Specialist III is a training position in place to assist newcomers to the Paralegal profession who have gained their P1 license and good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada and have successfully completed WSIB training programs but who need to gain practical experience and familiarity with time tracking systems. Compensation Specialist III’s are expected to be ready to move into the regular Compensation Specialist II ranks three years after the date of employ at CS III training level.
