Sub-committee on Cooperation. 1. For the purposes of the effective implementation andoperation of this Chapter, the Sub-Committee on Cooperation(hereinafter referred to in this Article as "theSub-Committee") shall be established pursuant to Article 11. 2. The functions of the Sub-Committee shall be: (a) exchanging views and information on cooperation ineach of the fields of cooperation referred to inArticle 111 and identifying ways of furthercooperation between the Parties; (b) monitoring, reviewing, and discussing issuesconcerning the effective implementation andoperation of this Chapter; (c) reporting the findings and actions taken by theSub-Committee to the Joint Committee regardingissues relating to the implementation and operationof this Chapter; (d) supervising the functions and activities of theworking groups to be established pursuant toparagraph 6; (e) establishing its own rules and procedures; (f) discussing any issues related to this Chapter; and (g) performing other functions as may be delegated by the Joint Committee pursuant to Article 11. 3. The Sub-Committee shall respect existing consultationmechanisms between the Parties for Official DevelopmentAssistance and other existing cooperation schemes and, asappropriate, share information with such mechanisms to ensureeffective and efficient implementation of cooperativeactivities. 4. The Sub-Committee shall be composed of representatives of the Governments of the Parties. The Sub-Committee may inviterepresentatives of relevant entities other than the Governments of the Parties as resource persons with the necessary expertise relevant to the issues to be addressed. 5. The Sub-Committee shall meet at such time and venue as maybe agreed by the Parties. 6. The Sub-Committee may establish a working group under theSub- Committee for each of the fields of cooperation referredto in Article 111. The functions, composition, and otherdetails of the working groups may be set forth in theImplementing Agreement. Article 115. Non-application of Chapter 13 Chapter 13 shall not apply to this Chapter.

  • Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade 1. The Parties hereby establish the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade, comprising representatives of each Party.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • Joint Safety Committee (a) The Union and the Company shall cooperate in selecting one or more Safety Committees, which will meet at least once a month to consider all safety and occupational health problems.

  • LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES Section 1. Labor/Management Committees The parties recognize that the holding of periodic meetings for the exchange of views and information contributes to the effectiveness of the labor/management relationship. Therefore, the parties shall establish Labor/Management Committees (LMC), in accordance with the provisions in this Article, for the purpose of addressing matters of concern in the areas of personnel policies, practices, conditions of employment, and other matters affecting employees. Each LMC will be co-chaired by one member from labor and one member from management.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx shall assist any Employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

  • Committee on Trade in Goods 1. The Parties hereby establish a Committee on Trade in Goods, comprising representatives of each Party.

  • Cooperation with Inspector General Grantee understands its duty, pursuant to Section 20.055(5), Fla. Stat., to cooperate with Florida Housing’s Inspector General in any investigation, audit, inspection, review, or hearing. Grantee will comply with this duty and ensure that any contracts issued under this Agreement impose this requirement, in writing, on its subcontractors.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.
