Stockpiling, Storage, and Transportation. The Contractor shall stockpile and store materials, equipment and debris in designated locations at the work site or its premises at its own expense. In addition to the limited indoor storage space referred to in paragraph J of these Special Conditions, the Department will make no more than 200 square feet of outdoor space available on its property at the site; this storage space will be located at street level. All transport of labor, materials or equipment shall be considered included in the contract price, as shall any and all costs incurred with field storage, including containers, parking and lot fees, security guard services, and extended insurance coverage. No extra payment will be made for any preparation, handling or transportation of materials or equipment: the cost of these operations will be deemed include in the contract price. The Department will make the existing freight elevator in the ferry terminal available to the Contractor for conveyance of its materials, labor and equipment to the roof level (3rd floor of the ferry terminal). The freight elevator shall be operated by Contractor personnel. Contractor needs for conveyance of items or loads beyond the capacity of the freight elevator shall remain the Contractor’s responsibility and shall be accomplished by the Contractor at Contractor expense. In the event the Contractor deems a crane or lift necessary to accomplish the work of the Contract, placement of same shall be subject to the approval of the Engineer. Contractor shall provide data and/or structural calculations as the Engineer may direct in order to validate the proposed placement of any cranes or lifts. Anchorage points for Contractor scaffolds and the like shall be subject to Engineer review and approval; Contractor shall provide data and/or structural calculations as the Engineer may direct in order to validate proposed anchorage points and arrangements. Materials and equipment shall not be placed, stored or piled in a manner that overloads the structure.

  • Parking and Transportation ‌ The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the University may apply changes in transportation policy, including adjusting parking and U-Pass fees and criteria for assigning parking spots, to the bargaining unit without the obligation to bargain with the Union. The Union may raise issues and concerns about the University’s parking program at Joint Labor/Management Committee meetings or at ad hoc Labor Management Committee meetings. The Union shall have a standing seat on the University’s committee(s) that work on transportation and parking issues.

  • TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL TIME 12.01 The Employer will provide transportation to and from jobs from the Employer’s shop. If an employee’s car is used for such transportation, the owner shall be paid fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre for such use.

Materials must be stored in original undamaged packaging in such a manner to ensure proper ventilation and drainage, and to protect against damage, weather, vandalism, and theft until ready for installation.

  • DELIVERY TERMS AND TRANSPORTATION CHARGES Deliverables shall be shipped F.O.B. point of delivery unless otherwise specified in the Supplemental Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise stated in the Offer, the Contractor’s price shall be deemed to include all delivery and transportation charges. The City shall have the right to designate what method of transportation shall be used to ship the deliverables. The place of delivery shall be that set forth the purchase order.

  • Transportation Services i) In the event that transportation services for a student served by CONTRACTOR pursuant to an Individual Services Agreement are to be provided by a party other than CONTRACTOR or the LEA or its transportation providers, such services shall be reflected in a separate agreement signed by the parties hereto, and provided to the LEA and SELPA Director by the CONTRACTOR. Except as provided below, CONTRACTOR shall compensate the transportation provider directly for such services, and shall charge the LEA for such services at the actual and reasonable rates billed by the transportation provider, plus a ten percent (.10) administrative fee, unless a “flat rate” is provided in the transportation contract. In the event that the transportation provider notifies the LEA or SELPA Director that CONTRACTOR is more than 90 days behind in payment for transportation services, LEA shall have the right, in its sole and exclusive discretion, but not the obligation, to make payment for such services directly to the transportation provider, and to deduct such payments from any sums owed to CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Master Contract and any Individual Services Agreement between the parties. In the event that the LEA makes direct payment of the transportation provider’s charges, it shall be entitled to withhold both the transportation charges themselves and such additional amount as shall be reasonably necessary to compensate the LEA for the staff and other costs incurred in making direct payment of those charges. The remedies provided to the LEA pursuant to this Paragraph shall not be exclusive. CONTRACTOR shall not include transportation through the use of services or equipment owned, leased or contracted through the LEA unless expressly provided in the Individual Services Agreement for the student transported.
