Sick Leave Bank Donations. 1. The employee leave committee will determine the number of sick leave days each participant must contribute in order to join or to keep the bank solvent. It will be the responsibility of the employee leave committee to notify the superintendent of schools and the co-presidents of the Blackfoot Education Association fifteen (15) days prior to such assessment.

Sick Leave Bank Donations. 1. Unit members may contribute one day of sick leave irrespective of their leave balance. However, unit members may only contribute more than one and up to a maximum of five (5) days if the donation would not cause the employee to fall below ten (10) days in any one school year based on each individual’s regular work day. The donation is irrevocable.
Sick Leave Bank Donations. A bargaining unit member who has accumulated at least thirty (30) days of sick leave may donate a portion of his or her accumulated sick leave to another bargaining unit member, who through serious and protracted illness has used all of his or her accumulated sick, vacation, holiday, personal (earned) and compensatory leave with the exception of two (2) weeks of accrued vacation leave which may be reserved for future use. The Mayor, or his/her designee, and the Director of Human Resources shall authorize the donation and transfer of such sick leave provided the following conditions are met:

  • Sick Leave Bank 22.1 The purpose of this Sick Leave Bank is to provide a bank of sick leave hours from which a member may draw in case of extended absences due to illness/disability which renders the member incapable of working.

  • Sick Leave Policy It is the policy of the State of Ohio to not unreasonably deny sick leave to employees when requested. It is also the policy of the State to take corrective action for unauthorized use of sick leave and/or abuse of sick leave. It is further the policy of the State that when corrective and/or disciplinary action is taken, it will be applied progressively and consistently. It is the desire of the State of Ohio that when discipline is applied it will serve the purpose of correcting the performance of the employee.
