SICK LEAVE AND BENEFITS. (a) Full-time employees in the bargaining unit shall be entitled to 100% payment in lieu of wages for absence due to sickness or because of accidents or injury not covered by Worker’s Compensation or group insurance. Such sick credits will apply during the standard work week and shall be limited to ten (10) days in each twelve (12) month calendar year period commencing January 1st to December 31st. Up to three (3) days, of the ten (10) days outlined above, may be used to attend to illness of children or family emergencies. No change in the current benefit plans shall be made without full disclosure to the Union.

  • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.

  • Sick Benefits 15.01 Eligible employees will receive Short Term Disability Benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the STD Plan Text, a copy of which has been supplied to the Union. The STD plan forms part of this Collective Agreement.

  • Salary and Benefits During the term of this Agreement:

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • Pay and Benefits A. The Agency shall continue to pay salary and benefits which includes pension contribution, insurance and paid leave time consistent with what they earned before their appointment. Employees appointed as a Contract Specialist shall not be eligible for reimbursement for uniforms, boots or other ancillary items while serving as a Contract Specialist the specifics which will be noted in the employee’s Contract Specialist agreement.

  • Sick Leave Bonus For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • PENSION AND BENEFITS 26:01 Employees are eligible to participate in the Pension Plan; Long Term Disability Plan; Group Life and Survivor Income Plan; Dental Care Plan; Extended Health Care Plan; Semi-Private Hospital Accommodation Plan; Joint Membership Plan; and Vision Care Plan, as summarized in Schedules “B” to “I” attached hereto.
