Section 14.5.2. 34 In the event of a layoff, employees so affected are to be placed on a reemployment list maintained 35 by the District according to seniority ranking. If the employee is on layoff and new or open 36 positions are posted, current employees will have priority providing the employee meets the job 37 qualifications. If no current employee bids on the job, those on layoff will have priority providing 38 the employee meets the job qualifications. 39
Section 14.5.2. 27 Each year the District will identify trainings that are being offered that meet the Washington 28 State Paraeducator Competency criteria requirements. Such notification will include which 29 criteria is covered in each training segment. The Washington State Paraeducator Competency 30 criteria will be used only as a guide to skills and knowledge necessary to meet the needs of 31 students.
Section 14.5.2. 8 The Association will indemnify, defend, and hold the District harmless against any claims made, and 9 any suit instituted against the District on account of any checkoff of Association dues (Section 14.7) 10 or requirement that employees pay membership or representation fees to the Association or a 11 charitable organization as a condition of employment (Section 14.6), or voluntary political 12 contributions. 16 A R T I C L E X V 18 GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 20 Section 15.1.
