Salary and Salary Schedule. The teacher salary schedule is part of this agreement and incorporated herein. A teacher, who leaves the District, if rehired by the District, will be placed on the next step of the salary schedule as if there had been no interruption in that teacher’s employment. Placement on the salary schedule must be verified by official transcripts and verification of previous employment. Contracts are issued for ten months according to placement on the salary schedule; contracts will approximate, but not exceed, 186 days. Teachers new to the District are issued contracts for ten months that approximate, but do not exceed,186 days, but are paid according to the Hourly Payment Schedule for New Teacher Orientation. Any teacher who was on Step 23 during the 2002-2003 school year shall receive an additional $750 for each year they remain at that step. Any teacher frozen on Step 23 for the 2015-2016 school year will receive an additional $750 for each year they remain at that step. Any teacher on Step 23 during the 2016-2017 school year will receive an additional $750 for each year they remain at that step. Placement on the salary schedule must be verified by official transcripts and verification of previous employment. Contracts are issued for 187 days according to placement on the salary schedule. Teachers new to the District are issued contracts for 187 days, but are paid according to the Hourly Payment Schedule for New Teacher Orientation. In the settlement of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2000-2002 the parties committed themselves to the implementation of pay parity for kindergarten teachers. Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

  • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties. Such adjustments, if any, shall be made pursuant to a lawful Board resolution. In such event, the parties agree to provide their best efforts and reasonable cooperation to execute a new contract incorporating the adjusted salary.

  • SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY SCHEDULE 12.01 Every effort shall be made by the Board to post supplemental positions in a timely manner each school year. Teachers in the bargaining unit may apply for the supplemental vacancy within ten (10) working days of each posting. If no qualified bargaining unit member applies for the supplemental position, the Board may fill the vacancy with individuals not in the bargaining unit.
