Quantity Increases and Decreases. THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED TO THE FIRST PARAGRAPH: The quantities appearing in the Proposal of this Contract are “if and where directed.” The Department has the right to increase or decrease the quantities of work to be performed, or has the right to eliminate Items in their entirety, at its sole discretion. The Department will only pay for the quantities of work completed. THE TWELFTH PARAGRAPH IS CHANGED TO: When the entire quantity of an Item is designated “if and where directed”, the Department will not renegotiate the price for the item THE THIRTEENTH PARAGRAPH IS DELETED:

Quantity Increases and Decreases. THE ENTIRE TEXT IS CHANGED TO: The Department reserves the right to cancel Work due to inclement weather. The Resident Engineer will provide verbal notification of cancellation. The Department has the right to increase or decrease the quantities of Work to be performed. The Department will not renegotiate the price for an item regardless of how much the total as-built quantities vary from the quantity contained in the Proposal The Resident Engineer reserves the right to eliminate any Items of work on any structure. If this occurs, there will be no compensation paid to the Contractor for the deletion of any Items of work. The Resident Engineer reserves the right to eliminate any structure from the contract. If this occurs, there will be no compensation paid to the Contractor for the elimination of any structure. The Operations Support and Engineering’s estimated quantities are obtained from a visual inspection of the structures.   • Price Increase/Decreases No price increases will be permitted during the first period of the Contract. The County requires documented proof of cost increases on Contracts prior to any price adjustment. A minimum of 30-days advance notice in writing is required to secure such adjustment. No retroactive price adjustments will be considered. All price decreases will automatically be extended to the County of Orange. The County may enforce, negotiate, or cancel escalating price Contracts or take any other action it deems appropriate, as it sees fit. The net dollar amount of profit will remain firm during the period of the Contract. Adjustments increasing the Contractor’s profit will not be allowed.

  • Wage Increases The wage rates in this Agreement will only be increased in accordance with any increases which may be awarded by the Australian Fair Pay Commission through wage reviews. The level of any increases will be such that the percentage wage increase as set out in Clause 15 of this agreement will be maintained. No additional increases in wage rates will apply to the rate of pay in Clause 15 of this Agreement while it is in operation.

  • Temporary Schedule Changes Overtime-eligible employees’ workweeks and/or work schedules may be temporarily changed with prior notice from the Employer. A temporary schedule change is defined as a change lasting thirty (30) calendar days or less. With the exception of the job classifications listed in Appendix B, overtime-eligible employees will receive three (3) calendar days’ written notice of any temporary schedule change. The day that notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Adjustments in the hours of work of daily work shifts during a workweek do not constitute a temporary schedule change.

  • Rent Increases The Rent payable shall not be increased or otherwise modified during the Term of this Lease. Any increase in Rent shall only take effect after the expiration of the Term provided in this Lease. Any increase in Rent to take effect upon renewal or extension of the Term of this Lease must be preceded by a - day notice of the same from the Landlord to the Tenant.

Each Party shall set out in a schedule the specific commitments it undertakes under Article 106 (National Treatment), Article 000 (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx) and Article 108 (Additional Commitments). With respect to sectors where such commitments are undertaken, each Schedule shall specify: (a) terms, limitations and conditions on market access; (b) conditions and qualifications on national treatment; (c) undertakings relating to additional commitments referred to in Article 108 (Additional Commitments); and (d) where appropriate, the time-frame for implementation of such commitments and the date of entry into force of such commitments. 2. Measures inconsistent with both Articles 106 (National Treatment) and 000 (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx) are inscribed in the column relating to Article 107 (Market Access). In this case, the inscription is considered to provide a condition or qualification to Article 106 (National Treatment) as well. 3. The Parties' Schedules of Specific Commitments are set out in Annex 6 (Schedules of Specific Commitments).

  • Salary Increases During the period of employment as provided in Paragraph 1(b) hereof, the base salary of the Executive shall be reviewed no less frequently than annually by the Board or the Compensation Committee of the Board to determine whether or not the same should be increased in light of the duties and responsibilities of the Executive and the performance thereof, and if it is determined that an increase is merited, such increase shall be promptly put into effect and the base salary of the Executive as so increased shall constitute the base salary of the Executive for purposes of Paragraph 3(a).
